Preparing for your visa application

All of our clients sponsor overseas employers to work in our Australian business under the subclass 457 business visa. The business visa is a temporary visa and is valid for up to four years, however may be renewed prior to the expiry of the visa for additional four-year periods.

CONDITIONS ATTACHED TO THE VISA

The sponsored subclass 457 business visa is issued with condition “8107”. This means that the visa holder must not cease to be employed by the sponsoring employer; work in a position or occupation inconsistent with the position or occupation which was specified in the business visa sponsorship application; or work for themselves, another person or another company. Dependents on this visa can work where they choose.
